Eligibility Criteria 

Qualifications & Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics (Mathematics Honours) – Mandatory.
  • Master’s Degree in Mathematics – Preferred.
  • Teaching qualification (B.Ed. or equivalent) will be an advantage.
  • Experience teaching Mathematics at Secondary level.
  • Experience in an English-medium school – Preferred.
  • Knowledge and understanding of IGCSE Mathematics curriculum.
  • Must be well-versed in computer applications and educational technology.
  • Proficiency in Google Classroom and email communication is essential, as all academic materials, assignments, and communication are managed digitally.
  • Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken).
  • Good classroom management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to integrate technology into teaching.

Experience:

  • Minimum 2–3 years of teaching experience in Secondary classes preferred.
  • Experience preparing students for IGCSE examinations will be an added advantage.

Job Description: 

Position Overview -

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Mathematics Teacher for Lower Secondary classes. The ideal candidate should be committed to delivering high-quality instruction, fostering critical thinking, and preparing students for higher-level mathematics, including IGCSE pathways.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons for Lower Secondary students.
  • Develop lesson plans in line with the school curriculum and academic standards.
  • Prepare students with a strong foundation for IGCSE Mathematics.
  • Assess, record, and report on students’ academic progress.
  • Prepare worksheets, assignments, tests, and examination papers.
  • Provide remedial support and enrichment activities where required.
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Participate in staff meetings, parent-teacher meetings, and school events.
  • Ensure discipline and classroom management in accordance with school policies.
  • Use digital platforms effectively for teaching, communication, and assignment management

Working Hours : 7:30am - 3:30pm. Please note that once a week, teachers are expected to stay until 4pm to assist with dispersal of the children.
