Job Overview:
Brainiac Heritage School is seeking a dedicated and passionate Geography Teacher to join the academic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective Geography lessons, fostering a positive learning environment, and supporting students in developing a strong understanding of geographical concepts and global awareness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver Geography lessons in accordance with the school curriculum
- Develop lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs and abilities
- Encourage critical thinking, environmental awareness, and analytical skills among students
- Assess and evaluate student performance through assignments, tests, and projects
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Participate in school meetings, events, and professional development activities
Eligibility Criteria:
- MA / MSc in Geography
- B.Ed (Bachelor of Education) is mandatory
- Prior teaching experience will be an added advantage
